Vandana International School, Sector-10 Dwarka, on 4th and 5th August, exuberated the rich festive atmosphere in the school for celebrating its 7th annual Mega SYNERGIA- a Saga of Interschool competitions.

The school’s Chairperson Dr. Ved Tandon and Academic Coordinator, Mrs. Akanksha Tandon are not only known for their philanthropy but their names are often heard amongst the top educators of Delhi and NCR. It is because of their distinct vision and ingenuity that the school has been a hub of activities that not only cater to the academic yearnings of the students but also ensure a more holistic development.

SYNERGIA, is one such platform, which showcases the talent and creativity of vivid schools. SYNERGIA 2022 witnessed blend of diligence, imagination, creativity and talent of 35 schools and 900 participants. It was indeed a visual feast, a cultural bonanza where the best of the best competed with each other and yet kept the spirit of sportsmanship alive. To adjudicate the 15 astounding and prodigious competitions, experts in various fields were invited and they shared their anecdotes of suggestions and expert guidance.

SYNERGIA-2022 was a fusion of talent, imagination, creativity, remarkable energy and alertness. A comprehensive presentation on the two-day-long competition kept the audience enthralled. All the participants were the students with equal caliber, ingenuity and potential but in the end, some stood out shining brighter than the others. The students took part in a wide range of activities with exuberance, eventually competing with large number of schools. It is a matter of immense pride for us to divulge that our students participated in different competitions and brought several laurels.
 
To conclude the two days extravaganza, each of the participating schools had something to take back to especially the memoirs of this spectacular event. While many won prizes few other won hearts. It was a celebration of knowledge, wisdom, vision and brilliance.
 
And with each passing year the school has tried to add new magic and bring something spectacular, a motley blend of fun and learning.

Synergia 2021

Synergia-Fest is an eagerly awaited inter-school fest for students. Continuing with its endeavours to spread the essence of environmental awareness among the young learners, Vandana International School, Sector 10 Dwarka organized “Synergia-2021” on the theme Envirofest on 17th and 18th August 2021. The event was diligently organized. There was a soul to it. A soul that was vibrant, contagious and exuberant. The event began with a welcome dance presentation followed by a song to keep hopes alive during the challenging times. The event witnessed a massive participation of around 400 students from 40 reputed schools across the city. An array of competitions from Pre Primary to Senior Secondary level was conducted and a wide spectrum of activities related to literary and performing arts were included in the same. The events provided children of eminent schools of Delhi and NCR to exhibit their talent and skills with great enthusiasm and passion even in this phase of pandemic. The event commenced with the felicitation of the venerable Chief Guest, Mr.Anurag Tripathi, Secretary CBSE. The School Academic Director, Ms. Akansha Tandon in her address, welcomed the participants and wished them success.
Students from classes’ I-XII participated in various events like, Ting-A-Ling, E-Face, Taal Tarang, Talking Titans, Shoe decor and many more as per their category. The participants prepared zealously to excel in their respective events. While two of these were live through MS Teams, for others recorded videos were invited. Though it was a virtual celebration, it was nevertheless exciting because of its uniqueness. As the participants expressed themselves, their youthful creativity and unbridled imagination, brought alive their emotions and created a palette of colours. Their vivacity and brilliance, was displayed fully in their performances. The competition was an enriching experience for all the participants.
The festival’s success is credited to the organizing committee of Synergia Fest, headed by the Academic Director Ms. Akansha Tandon. These events gave all parties involved an opportunity to implement their technical know-how, for the organizers, in brainstorming and coming up with new events and for the participants who learned something new by the end of the day.

Synergia 2020

Synergia- A saga of Inter-School Competitions.
Our school has been organizing this competition since 2016 and is proud to involve around 50 schools with more than 600 students exhibiting their talents in various areas.
Synergia 2020 - with the theme India Against Corona,on a digital platform in which 50 venerated schools and 600 students from New Delhi and NCR showcased their talent and intrinsic coveted skills .The event was held for a week from 29th July20 and was culminated on 8th August 2020 with ‘Prize Distribution Ceremony’. .Mr Harsh Tandon,Vice Chairman, Vandana International Sr Sec School extended cordial welcome to the Chief Guest Mr ANURAG TRIPATHI, Hon’ble Secretary, CBSE who addressed the parents and students on the topic ‘Collaboration is the key to present day learning and success in the future ‘.It was an enriching Live-session on Face Book attended by more than 9k students and their parents who gained an insight about the latest education policies and trends which will allow students to attain skills and knowledge that can suppliment or complement their main field of study.The event was witnessed by noteworthy invitees DR R K Sharma (Founder Chairman, Coordination Committee of Pubic Schools),Dr.D K Pandey (Principal,N C Jindal Public School) and Dr. C B Mishra (Director,Principal,Prudence Group of Schools) who graced the occasion with their benign presence along with Mr V P Tandon, Chairman, Vandana, Kamal, Gurugram and Trinity group of Institutions, New Delhi & NCR. Mrs Vandana Tandon, Vice Chairperson also joined the event to appreciate and bless the winners for their best performances.The School Academic Director Mrs Akansha Tandon announced that CAMBRIDGE FOUNDATION SR SEC SCHOOL,RAJOURI GARDEN is achiever of ‘Rolling Trophy ‘ with the highest scores in Synergia2020 and she also congratulated all the winners for their exemplary performance.

‘Mind Scribble’ event of the Annual Fest “Synergia-2020”

'Mind scribble' science quiz competition was organised by Vandana International. Students from different schools across Delhi participated in this virtual event with great zeal and showed their talent. Future scientists gave tough competition to each other. Final results of the event will be e announced on 8th of August on School's Facebook page.

‘Varivovid -granting relief’ event of the Annual Fest “Synergia-2020”

Varivovid -granting relief
 As VIS  always wishes to build deep understanding of conceptual knowledge, outside the classroom varivovid granting relief was organised on 31 July 2020.
 It was really a great experience to witness the young minds of class 11th and 12th on the same platform which reflects the habit of intensive research and implementation of formulas along with actual knowledge of the students , all required in a field like commerce.
 We are greatly thankful to Mr Vineet Malhotra, HOD, Economics and a faculty member of CBSE and NSE, for taking the time to patiently judge the event on stimulus to economy and overall presentation of the teams.

‘Food Crafters’ event of the Annual Fest “Synergia-2020”

Students from various schools of Delhi donned their ‘Chef Caps’ to exhibit their culinary skills in ‘Food Crafters’ event of the Annual Fest “Synergia-2020” held virtually by Vandana International School on 29th July, 2020. Dishes were judged on the parameters of innovation, nutrition and overall presentation by the chief guest Ms. Shikha. A. Sharma, a well acclaimed dietician and nutritionist.

Synergia 2019

Vandana International School, Sec -10, Dwarka, organised “Synergia, an inter-school competition” for two days on 25 and 26 July in the school premises. Nearly 700 Students of various schools participated in the competition, which was organized for all categories of junior and senior. The competition was judged by prestigious judges from different schools and organisation of Delhi.

Synergia 2018

“Students are the clay moulds and we teachers are the potters who shape them uniquely”.
In this era of smartphones when children have their eyes glued in gadgets, it brings out the need to create a platform where they can showcase their talent. Synergia 2018, our annual inter-school competition was organised for two days on 24th and 25th July 2018 in the school premises. Students competed against each other in all categories from KG to Class XII. The ten competitions were judged by eminent judges and subject experts from different fields who were invited to grace the occasion and judge the events of various school of West Delhi.
In the various competitions held in two days the students participated in Fancy Dress, Yoga, Musical Instruments, Clay Modelling, Created a dream nation, Quizzing on Nutrition and Wellness for Primary and on English Literature for the Seniors, Enactment of a Drama, Pottery Art and a presentation on E Waste management among others. Competition had themes like “Indian folk” for pottery by students of Class VIII and ”Outdated and Obsolete objects” for Fancy Dress by Class 1. Drama Enactment by Class 2 and 3 students was all about famous Akbar and Birbal tales but with a twist that added the zing. The little ones were full of energy and participated with full gusto. Welcome dance on the opening day made the whole atmosphere thrilling. Students of Class 4 and 5 participated in “Nutrition and Wellness” where their knowledge was tested in various rounds. In senior category the competition had topics like “E Waste” where schools were allotted countries and children were required to make a presentation based on the E Waste measures taken by different countries as well as create a model from E waste. Class XI and XII students were given the topic “Epoch”. They had to study and create a dream nation and give a presentation covering all aspects. “Folksy Pottery” and “Arty Party” competition was held to bring creativity of students to the forefront. In all these categories Indraprastha school secured most prizes and took home the Rolling Trophy. The events promoted curiosity, exploration and excitement amongst the children and it was a fun filled learning experience for all.
Such events form an integral part of student’s life as they add richness and value to their experiences. It was indeed a collaborative effort of teachers and students which made the event a grand success.
